LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, a Dec. 30 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for William M. Alesi III, 29, Liberty Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence, which is a fifth-degree felony charge due to a previous domestic violence conviction. Alesi is accused of pushing Judy Peck, his sister, into a computer desk, and pinning her to the floor with his hand on her throat on Sunday. Alesi is also charged with resisting arrest for allegedly pulling away from Perry Township police attempting to physically restrain him in handcuffs on Sunday.
A Dec. 30 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Barry S. Rummel, 50, North Pleasant Street, East Palestine, charged with having weapons while under a disability and obstructing official business. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Tommy Daniels, 63, Youngstown, was fined $825, had his license suspended for six months and was credited with 10 days served for OVI first offense and assault for speeding up and ramming a vehicle which passed him while he was going only 20 mph and "all over the road".
Michael J. Spencer, 26, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $430, had his license suspended for 180 days in jail and credited with two days served in jail while sentenced to an additional three days in jail for possession of marijuana, driving under OVI suspension and a seat belt violation.
Gregory C. Ritterbeck, 22, Cedar Ridge, Salem, was fined $250 and credited with two days served for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for striking his fiance in the face and choking her.
Christopher M. Miller, 34, Salineville Road, Salineville, was fined $250 and credited with seven days served for domestic violence for throwing a can of soup out of rage and striking a 9-year-old child living with him in the head on Nov. 27.
Mathew A. Bays, 26, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $150, required 30 hours community service and credited with two days served in jail for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for shoving his girlfriend Alyssa R. Sluter to the ground, injuring her arm on Sept. 28.
Russell J. McCullough, 23, East Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for six months for drug possession.
Jason L. Harris, 34, Smithfield, was fined $100 for speeding.
Keith B. MacManus, 51, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $75 for miscellaneous wildlife violation for hunting deer during gun season with a shotgun capable of holding more than three shells.
Lee Deitrick, 24, Louisville, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for obstructing official business for running from police after allegedly taking items from Walmart in Salem and then dumping it onto the sidewalk, then refusing to provide his name.
A Jan. 2 pretrial was set for Darryl M. Pudder, 41, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, cited for obstructing official business for allegedly attempting to pass off another person's urine as his own during a drug test at Municipal Court on Monday.
A Jan. 13 pretrial was set for Jonathan E. Mitchell, 40, Scroggs Road, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing gasoline on his live-in girlfriend, Jodie Harris, and threatening to burn her and the house down if she refused to leave.
A Jan. 21 pretrial was set for Tabbithia L. Boyd, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, charged with criminal trespassing for allegedly going into her ex-boyfriend's home uninvited.
A Jan. 21 pretrial was set for Cynthia E. Stacey-Tirabassi, 53, McCann Road, Kensington, charged with OVI first offense and traffic control device violation.
A Jan. 27 pretrial was set for Dawn M. Lutz, 30, Youngstown, cited with driving under suspension.
A Jan. 27 pretrial was set for Laura M. Crowell, 28, Lake Front Drive, Beloit, cited with domestic violence for allegedly striking a man in the head with her right hand while he was encased in a cast.
A Jan. 28 pretrial was set for Cagney Springer, 24, 18th Street, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly beating up his girlfriend, Sabrina Miller, in the street in front of neighbors and dragging her into the house.
A Jan. 28 pretrial was set for Jakob D. Bell, 23, Campbell Road, Hanoverton, charged with theft for allegedly taking $75 off the bar at the Forest Lanes Bowling Alley in Kensington.
A Jan. 28 pretrial was set for Andrew C. Cannon, 37, Spillway Road, Lisbon, charged with criminal trespassing for allegedly sleeping on the front porch of Brian and Tanya Cook, East Seventh Street, Salem, on Sunday.
A Feb. 6 pretrial was set for David Winters, 29, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.
A March 25 pretrial was set for Charlene M. Sias, 36, Elkton Road, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension, failure to display valid sticker and a seat belt violation.
A driving under FRA suspension citation was dismissed against Michael A. Smith, 38, Metz Road, Columbiana.
