KENSINGTON - Alfred Edwin Andrulis, 85, of Lisbon passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at the Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Al was born March 2,1928 in Homestead, Pa. to John Peter and Helen Evona (Alijosius) Andrulis. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Dungannon. He also attended St. George Catholic Church.
Al was a farmer and worked at Mullins, then American Standard, retiring from there. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany from Oct. 1, 1950 to Sept. 25, 1952.
Surviving Al are his care givers, Ray (Judy) Burkey and their daughters, Jamie (Jason) Hovell and Trudy Hall.
Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother, Vincent John Andrulis, who passed away Oct. 27, 1987.
Calling hours for Al will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at the Maple Cotton Funeral Home in Kensington.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church with Father James Lang and Father Bob Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Dungannon.
Military services will be provided by the VFW, DAV and the American Legion.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Alliance Hospice.
