Ernest Gould Lambright

ENON VALLEY, Pa. - Ernest Gould Lambright, 93, of Enon Valley, died at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at the Jameson Hospital, New Castle.

Mr. Lambright was born Oct. 26, 1920 in Leetonia, a son of the late Herbert M. and Helen Crowl Lambright. He had served in the US Army during WW II. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of Ohio Bell. He had been employed by Ohio Bell as a splicer.

His wife, the former Beverly E. Beike, whom he married March 13, 1944, died Oct.4, 2005.

He is survived by four daughters, Helen Lambright of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Millie (Domenick "Butch") Cox of New Castle, Pa., Leigh Canady of Kirkland, Wash., and Beverly Lambright of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sons, Rev. Ernest (Connie) Lambright of Plevna, Mont., and Jonathan (Shirley) Lambright of Darlington, Pa; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia Summers; two sons, Herbert and William Lambright; a brother, Raymond Lambright; one grandson; and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, Ohio with Pastor David Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Little Beaver Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
