Small Town Christmas tour offered
NORTH GEORGETOWN - The sixth annual Small Town Christmas tour of selected crafters and their shops in the North Georgetown area will be held Thanksgiving weekend, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Beaver Crime Watch meeting canceled
NORTH LIMA - Beaver Township Police Crime Watch has canceled its meeting in December.
Holiday Bazaar set at Memorial Bldg.
SALEM A holiday bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 6 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Salem Memorial Building, 785 E. State St. Arts and crafts, seasonal items, and candies and baked goods will be available for purchase. Featured vendors, along with other entertainment and attractions, will be live on stage. Lunch will be available for purchase. A Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle will be held on Saturday. All proceeds go to the Salem Memorial Building Association. For more information call 330-332-5512.
Swimming session to begin in January
SALEM - The Salem Community Center is announcing another session of Learning to Accelerate your Potential for Swimming. The primary purpose of L.A.P.S. is to bridge the gap between swim lessons and competitive swimming with an emphasis on promoting wellness and fitness through the sport of swimming.
The first session runs from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. every Saturday Jan. 11 through March 1. Cost is $55 for members and $70 for non-members. For more information call 330-332-5885.
