LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, John D. Gbur, 45, Park Avenue, Salem, was fined $100, credited with one days in jail served and ordered to serve an additional nine days for disorderly conduct for yelling profanities and refusing to cooperate with police who had been called to a Park Avenue, Salem, home on Sept. 12 where someone reported an intoxicated man damaging a vehicle.

Cody Burns, 23, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $250 and sentenced to one day in jail for theft for placing two large bags of dog food, a bag of chicken wings and other unidentified items into a shopping cart at Walmart in Salem on Aug. 25 and leaving the store without paying.

Joey N. LaFleme, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $150 and sentenced to one day in jail for theft for concealing $382 in merchandise and leaving Walmart in Salem without paying on Nov. 15.

Rafael Colon, 37, South Freedom Avenue, Alliance, was fined $200 and credited with 12 days in jail for disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing for walking in the woods on Aug. 26 on property owned by Jim Sturgeon, which is clearly marked "no trespassing." The disorderly conduct charge reportedly involved him allegedly driving recklessly and yelling vulgarities at the home of Angel Colon on June 14, leaving numerous ruts in the yard and driveway.

Elizabeth P. Harrington, 20, East State Street, Salem, was fined $75 for failure to reinstate a license and two counts of expired registration.

A Nov. 26 pretrial was set for Cory D. Cope, 22, Sherman Street, Lisbon, cited with discarding litter for allegedly leaving household trash belonging to Steven McGaffic of Lisbon on Black Road in Madison Township, when he paid two people including Cope to take the trash away for him.

A Dec. 3 sentencing hearing was set for Steven J. McVay, 32, Canton, who pleaded no contest to driving under suspension and use of an unauthorized plate.

A Dec. 12 pretrial was set for Michael R. Brown, 22, Carole Drive, Salem, cited with driving under OVI suspension and obstructing official business after police stopped a vehicle on Benton Road in Perry Township on Nov. 10, the driver fled on foot and the owner of the vehicle allegedly identified Brown as the driver. Additionally, a pretrial was set the same dated for an open container citation after police reportedly found on in his vehicle on Nov. 14.

A Dec. 16 pretrial was set for Rachel S. Hostetler, 34, Hutter Drive, Columbiana, cited with driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

A Dec. 23 pretrial was set for Michael A. Smith, 38, Metz Road, Columbiana, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A Dec. 26 pretrial was set for Justin D. Wolfe, 23, Sharp Street, Salem, cited with driving under FRA suspension and tail lights.

A Jan. 6 pretrial was set for Jerrica M. Carl, 19, Prospect Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly concealing $70 in merchandise and leaving the Walmart in Salem without paying.

A Jan. 7 pretrial was set for Heidi Weaver, 41, Taylor Road, Negley, cited with failure of confinement or restraint of a dog.

A Jan. 7 pretrial was set for Jerry R. Campbell III, 23, Clapsaddle, Alliance, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A Jan. 14 pretrial was set for Carly A. Brunie, 22, East Ohio Avenue, Sebring, charged with theft for allegedly leaving Walmart in Salem with $224 worth of merchandise in a shopping cart.
