SALEM - Marjorie L. Adams, 85, of Salem, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct.29, 2013 at the Salem Circle of Care following a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 6, 1928 in Lisbon, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Marcella (Walzer) Clapsadle.
She was a Lisbon High School graduate and enjoyed being a homemaker.
Her husband, James G. Adams, whom she married, Feb. 5, 1949, preceded her in death May 7, 2006. A daughter-in-law, Kathy Adams, and two sisters, Dorothy Hurless and Carol Rutledge, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Marsha (Larry) Fender of Salem; a son, Roger J. Adams of Salem; a brother, Paul Clapsadle of East Palestine, Ohio; three grandsons, Les, Jason and Ryan; a great-grandson, Jordan; and two great-granddaughters, Kirsten and Carrie.
Private graveside services will be held at the Franklin Square Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by the Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
