LISBON - David J. Daniels III, 38, Seventh Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to domestic violence. Court documents state he harmed Amanda Daniels on May 15, grabbing her by the throat with one hand, grabbing her left forearm and throwing her back against a kitchen counter when she attempted to leave after he threw a water bottle through a big screen television.

Daniels also previously was convicted on two counts of domestic violence in January in county Municipal Court when he was accused of throwing his son around the residence, attempting to smother him and grabbing his wife by the throat to choke her before telling her to get out or he would kill them.

Sentencing is set for Jan. 13.
