Highway Patrol

- Theodore Metzka, 59, Campbell, was south on state Route 170 in Unity Township at 9:59 a.m. Tuesday and Christopher Yoder, 28, Center Road, Homeworth, was north on state Route 170 and went left of center into Metzka. Yoder was cited for left of center.

- Nicholas A. Pizzoferrato, 38, state Route 45, Lisbon, was east on Middle Beaver Road in Elkrun Township at 5:30 a.m. Saturday and hit a deer.

- Laura J. Locker, 50, Butler Grange Road, Salem, was east on U.S. 62 in Knox Township at 3:35 p.m. Oct. 18 and struck Joseph Monestra, 26, Malvern, who failed to yield from a private drive. Monestra was cited for right of way and Locker was taken to Salem hospital with possible injuries.

- Melissa S. Sutton, 48, Randel Road, Hanoverton, was south on state Route 9 in Butler Township at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday and hit a deer.

- John G. Urichko, 33, Jacob Logtown Road, Lisbon, was east on Hunters Camp Road in Center Township at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and hit a deer.

- Harry M. Laffera, 76, Spillway Road, Lisbon, was north on U.S. 30 in Center Township at 1:20 p.m. Monday and Keith Lloyd Finch, 44, was south and the load on his vehicle came loose and struck Laffera. Finch was cited for securing loads.

- Jamie B. Miller, 18, Knox School Road, Minerva, and Ryan Eugene Stratton, 44, were east on state Route 172 in West Township at 3:33 p.m. Monday and Miller struck Stratton from behind. Miller was cited for assured clear distance and Stratton was taken to Salem hospital with possible injuries.

- Kristy A. Terwilliger, 39, East Main Street, East Palestine, was east on state Route 14 in Unity Township at 12:48 p.m. Monday and was struck by Shannon L. Brown, 47, Berlin Center, who was also east on state Route 14. Brown was cited for assured clear distance.
