LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Nov. 4 preliminary hearing was set for Alvin W. Carnes, 29, West Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with burglary for allegedly going into a South Lincoln Avenue home wearing only a T-Shirt on Aug. 26 without being invited in. Court documents state Carnes then ran across the bridge at state Route 164. A pretrial was set the same date for Carnes, who is also charged with resisting arrest and public indecency from the same incident.
Andrew C. Cannon, 37, East Seventh Street, Salem, was sentenced to 49 days in jail and credited with 11 days served for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for driving a vehicle on Jan. 15, 2011, which had been stolen from the home of Rhonda McDonald a day earlier. He was also fined $50 for open container.
Amber M. Stickney, 35, Taylor Avenue, New Waterford, pleaded guilty to attempted forgery, a first-degree misdemeanor, and a felony forgery charge was dismissed in a plea agreement. Stickney was fined $250 and required 40 hours of community service. While a manager at Cashland in Columbiana, Stickney created a loan for $600 based on radio controlled cars valued at $190 as the collateral and then signed the loan in another person's name.
Dallion S. Elkins, 19, Avondale Street, East Liverpool, waived his right to an extradition hearing and will be returned to the state of Pennsylvania on a warrant involving charges of receiving stolen property, conspiracy to receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct.
Steven Chestnut, 46, Depot Road, Lisbon, was sentenced to 15 days in jail for driving under FRA suspension.
Michael R. Windle, 32, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for assault amended from domestic violence for grabbing Case Reynolds by the neck, punching her in the lip and the nose on Aug. 22.
Ronald H. Layne, 56, North 15th Street, Sebring, was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from speeding.
A driving under suspension citation against Michelle A. Soy, 35, South Park Circle, East Liverpool, was dismissed.
A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Carmen J. Arsuffi, 24, Thornberry Trail, North Lima, cited with traffic control device violation.
A Dec. 9 pretrial was set for Ross A. Chaplow, 31, Metz Road, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense, driving under suspension and failure to control.
A Dec. 9 pretrial was set for Joshua W. Blakely, 23, Philadelphia, Pa., cited with driving under suspension and lighted lights required.
