LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, David Diaz, 24, Fair Avenue, Salem, was fined $1,400, sentenced to 20 days in jail, had his license suspended for 12 months and required 40 hours community service for OVI second offense, driving under OVI suspension, two lights displayed and obstructing official business for running from police on foot on Friday.

Christopher J. Little, 24, Wampum, Pa., was fined $775, had his license suspended for six months, was required 40 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and disorderly conduct.

Thomas Brewer, 21, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia and marijuana possession.

Robert A. Delsignore, 43, New Middletown, was fined $180 for fictitious registration, turn signal violation and no license amended from driving under suspension.

Donald S. Miller, 23, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon, was fined $150 for improper registration and no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

Jason E. Yerger, 39, Bayard Road, Minerva, was fined $150, credited with one day served in jail and required 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from assault for throwing his right arm above Nancymarie Shelton's head, knocking off her glasses and then pushing her outside her home and locking the door with her children inside.

Brandon A. Smith, was fined $150, credited with nine days served and required 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from assault for punching Scott D. Bender in the face several times on Aug. 10.

Louis R. Reynolds, 31, Girard, was fined $150 for commercial speeding.

An Oct. 31 pretrial was set for Andrew T. McFarland, 28, Church Street, New Waterford, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for allegedly taking her grandmother's, Shirley E. Lunger's, vehicle on Oct. 15 and not returning it an hour later as planned. Lunger reportedly continued to contact her granddaughter about the vehicle, but she would either lie about where she was at or let her cell phone go to voice mail. Lunger was later contacted by Columbiana County Children Services, who notified her McFarland was arrested in Mahoning County on drug-related offenses and McFarland's husband had overdosed from drugs while they were in Lunger's vehicle with three young children present.

A Nov. 4 pretrial was set for Carlos A. Mendoza, 36, East Fifth Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his live-in girlfriend, Faustina C. Ajanel, on Thursday and threatening to kill her.

A Nov. 5 pretrial was set for Codey A. Mobley, 19, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, charged with aggravated menacing for reportedly threatening to burn down the house where Sarah Berdine and Bobbie McIntyre reside on Chester Avenue on Oct. 7.

A Nov. 7 sentencing hearing was set for Devaughn K. Pastore, West Street, East Palestine, who pleaded guilty to theft for taking a $2.49 bag of Pepperidge Farms Goldfish from the East Palestine Circle K on Sunday.

A Nov. 21 pretrial was set for David W. Reed, 74, Center Road, Homeworth, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking his granddaughter in the back with his fist and threatened to kill her.

A Nov. 21 pretrial was set for Lisa M. Richards, 28, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, charged with complicity to theft after she allegedly concealed several items in her purse totaling $41, while consulting with her boyfriend, Andrew Stewart, about what items to steal. He then reportedly left the Dollar General in Rogers on Sunday with the merchandise and returned later to get Richards. A Nov. 5 pretrial was set for Stewart, Asbury Road, 25, Chester, W.Va., charged with theft.

A Nov. 25 pretrial was set for Lyle E. Farmer, 28, Gordonsville, Va., charged with driving under suspension and criminal trespassing for allegedly attempting to retrieve a dog by going to his ex-girlfriend's home three times after being told not to return. The dog was reportedly not at that home.

A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Darla D. Austin, 49, Bayard Road, Homeworth, charged with menacing for allegedly threatening to hit a girl and attempting to take her phone to stop her from calling for help.

A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Anthony Paul Downing, 26, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
