Lucy Lucille Ridgley

LISBON- Lucy Lucille Ridgley, 89, of Cusick Road, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday at her home.

Mrs. Ridgley was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Tyler County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Marshall Amos and Rose Leona Dawson, and had lived in the Lisbon area since 1941.

A homemaker, she was a member of the West Point Church of the Nazarene.

Her husband, Ray W. Ridgley, whom she married Oct. 14, 1941, preceded her in death May 18, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Jean Ridgley.

She is survived and will be dearly remembered by her children, Russell (Shirley) Ridgley of Lisbon, Roland "Ron" (Maxine) Ridgley of Lisbon, Rose Cantwell of Salem, Jimmy Ridgley of Lisbon, Gary (Jayne) Ridgley of Lisbon, Michael (Cindy) Ridgley of Salem and Marlene Ridgley of East Liverpool; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services were held Saturday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Simms of the West Point Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial followed in the Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Calling hours for the family and friends were held Friday evening at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the West Point Church of the Nazarene.
