- Gustavo Silveira Jr., of Lake Avenue, Salem, was southbound on state Route 9 at 6:30 a.m. Saturday when he swerved to miss a deer. His 2011 Chevrolet Silverado registered to the Frank Surveying Co. of Columbus, Texas, went off the side of the road and hit a pole. He was cited for failure to control.

- Darrin Waselich, Columbiana-Lisbon Road, Columbiana, was eastbound on U.S. 62 in Butler Township on Friday when he hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Carl Kommel, Stanley Court, Beloit, pushing him into a vehicle driven by Jamie Randolph, West Middletown Road, Columbiana. Waselich was cited for assured clear distance.

- Perry Fenton, Morning Road, Mechanicstown, was westbound on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 6:30 a.m. Friday when he swerved to miss a deer and went off the side of the road. He was cited for failure to control.

- Clarence Kennedy, Gulfport, Miss., driving a vehicle owned by Chesapeake Energy, was westbound on state Route 558 in Fairfield Township at 4:42 p.m. Friday when he struck a vehicle owned by Gordon Brothers of Salem and driven by Dusten Smith, Eagleton Road, Lisbon, who was southbound on state Route 164. Kennedy was cited.

- Stephen Raper, of Olmsted Falls, was northbound on state Route 7 in Fairfield Township at 4 p.m. Friday when he struck a stopped vehicle driven by Rose Reed, of Warren, pushing it into a vehicle driven by Dianna Clay, of Hubbard. Raper was cited for assured clear distance.
