Eldon O. “Hump” Baringer Sr.

BELOIT - Eldon O. "Hump" Baringer Sr., 84, died at 6:44 p.m. Oct. 1, 2013, at Crandall Medical Center following a long illness.

Eldon was born April 30, 1929, in Berlin Center to Foster and Gladys (Mock) Baringer.

He had worked for Fithian Vault Company and Goshen Township road department.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha (Sweely) Baringer; four daughters, Barbara Miller of Leetonia, Brenda (Ron) Ritchie of Beloit, Linda (Ken) Diver of Sebring and Connie (Will) Hunter of Salem; three sons, Eldon O. (Faith) Baringer of Sebring, David (Heidi) Baringer of Diamond and Lester (Diane) Baringer of Salem; one sister, Gwenneth (George) Confoey of Berlin Center; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Lee Baringer; and two brothers, Randall Baringer and Calvin Baringer.

A private service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Dean's Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Baker officiating. Burial will be at East Goshen Cemetery.
