LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, Henry J. Davis Jr., 41, Beacon Light Road, Lisbon, was fined $875, had his license suspended for six months, required 50 hours community service and sentenced to six days in jail for OVI first offense, drug paraphernalia and lane violations.

Diego Guit Ramos Armando, 23, Canton, was fined $350 and required 50 hours community service for no license and failure to yield from a private drive.

Justin M. Anderson, 25, North Lincoln Avenue, Alliance, was fined $250 for theft for pushing a TV out of Walmart in Salem without paying.

Scott D. Bender Jr., 27, South Broadway, Salem, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for open burning for burning plastic cups, aerosol cans, foil, cigarette packs, a spoon and other items in his backyard on Aug. 19.

Robert J. Levis, 28, Benton Road, Salem, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail and required 25 hours community service for driving under a 12-point suspension.

Gary E. Phillips, 35, Main Street, Hanoverton, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension. A fictitious plate citation was dismissed.

David Pastore, 31, Union Street, Washingtonville, was fined $250 for disorderly conduct for refusing to cooperate with requests by police to calm down, speak with them and stay away from the police cruiser which his brother was sitting inside.

Preston Ward, 23, Akron, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Michael L. Koval, 33, Youngstown, was fined $150 and credited with seven days served for falsification for giving police his brother's social security number in an attempt to avoid being taken into custody on a warrant from Mahoning County on Sept. 23.

Malcom S. Newson, 48, Cleveland,was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Lars Kreps, 20, Columbia Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Angela M. Tondo, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 for failure to display a dog tag. A barking dog citation was dismissed.

An Oct. 3 pretrial was set for Mark E. Knight Jr., 26, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly failing to cooperate with police looking for a missing or runaway teenager on Thursday.

An Oct. 22 pretrial was set for Jammi R. Duran, 34, Poland, cited with three counts passing bad checks for three checks allegedly written to Morgan's Drug Store in Lisbon on June 11, 2012, for $31, $6 and $240.

An Oct. 28 pretrial was set for Dylan Richard Wolford, 22, South Main Street, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense and lane violation.

An Oct. 29 pretrial was set for Ronald P. Venezia Jr., 36, Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, charged with domestic violence and criminal damaging for allegedly pushing his girlfriend Tara Reed into a buffet table and when she attempted to stand back up, pushed her down again. Additionally, he reportedly broke her laptop and snapped her cell phone in two.

A Nov. 12 pretrial was set for Alyssa R. Sluter, 22, New Garden Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly smacking her boyfriend Matthew A. Bays several times in the face and arm on Saturday. An Oct. 28 pretrial was set for Bays, 26, New Garden Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly shoving Sluter to the ground and causing injuries to her arm.

A Nov. 12 pretrial was set for Jordan W. Ramsey, 56, Ridge Road, Salem, charged with OVI first offense, possession of firearms, resisting arrest and marked lanes.

A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Joshua J. Gatewood, 23, Warren, charged with driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

A Dec. 2 pretrial was set for Charles W. Gentry Jr., 38, Grant Street, Lisbon, cited with failure to reinstate a license.
