EAST PALESTINE- Lois Jean Malone Lynn, 77, died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday at Circle of Care in Salem following a recent illness.
Mrs. Lynn was born June 14, 1936, in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Harry Lewis Malone and Esther Pearl (Pearson) Malone, and had lived in Salem the past three years after moving from East Liverpool.
She worked as a journeyman castor at the Hall China Company for 14 years, retiring in 1981. She was also the co-owner and operator of the L.J. Lynn Farm Market.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ, she was the former wife of Thomas John Lynn.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Lee (Art) Hurst of Lisbon, Doris Jean Lynn of East Palestine and Christina Marie (Steve) Crowder of East Liverpool; and a son, Thomas John (Sue) Lynn Jr. of Wellsville. She had five brothers; seven sisters; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, 6080 state Route 7, New Waterford. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home in East Palestine.
