Salem Kiwanis host local NFL Punt, Pass & Kick

SALEM- The Salem Kiwanis Club hosted the local Punt, Pass & Kick competition sponsored by the National Football League on Sept. 22 at the Salem Community Center.

The following youngsters earned first-place honors in their respective age groups: Girls, age 6-7, Camryn Cody; age 10-11, Hannah White; age 12-13, Lillian Popa; and Boys, age 6-7, Elijah Bramer; age 8-9, Garrett Flick; age 10-11, Lucas Brill; age 12-13, Ethan Antram; and age 14-15 David Scyoc. These winners move on to a sectional competition to be held Oct. 19 in McConnelsville, Ohio, where they can qualify for team championship competition to be held at Browns Stadium during an NFL game later this football season.

A number of NFL players have competed in NFL Punt Pass & Kick in past decades including Dan Marino and Drew Bledsoe.
