EAST LIVERPOOL Lora M. Radcliffe Ludwig, 72, of Salem and formerly of East Liverpool, died Saturday at home following a lengthy illness.
Born in Bridgewater, Pa. on July 26, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Bessie Derenburger Radcliffe. She worked at Hall China Company as a mold runner until her retirement in 2006. A member of the Central United Methodist Church in Wellsville and also attended the Assembly of God at one time, she was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1959.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ludwig on July 30, 2006. The couple married July 2, 1973. She was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Becky L. Grimm; and two brothers, Ray D. Radcliffe and Gary W. Radcliffe.
Survivors include a sister, Debra "Debbie" Cook, and a brother, Larry Radcliffe, of East Liverpool; a stepdaughter Sheila Mark, of Athens, Ohio; and a stepson, Lesley Ludwig of East Liverpool. Other survivors include five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Rev. Joanne Dota, chaplain at Hospice of the Valley, will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
