NEW MIDDLETOWN Grace E. Noble, 92, died Thursday morning at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center in New Middletown after an extended illness.
Born Jan. 7, 1921, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of Emil and Bertha (Getz) Ranft.
Mrs. Noble was employed in sales at Strouss' Department Store in downtown Youngstown from 1946-48; as an administrative assistant from 1965-85 at Canfield Tri-Cash and Carry which later became Busy Beaver Building Center; Phil Buchanan Contracting as secretary from 1985-86; A.S. Fricano Inc. C.P.A. as secretary in the Salem office from 1987-93; and a notary public for 10 years. She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Noble of Streetsboro; a son, Robert W. (Mary) Noble Jr. of Struthers; five grandsons; three great- grandchildren; and a brother, Russell Ranft of Columbus.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Locust Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Robert W. Noble Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market St., North Lima; and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
