LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Matthew P. Pittman, 24, West State Street, Salem, was fined $150 for failure to control. A hit skip citation was dismissed.

Brian J. Bayless, 39, Niles, was fined $130 and required 50 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license and commercial speeding.

Tracey D. Lindsay, 50, Main Street, Kensington, was fined $130 for unsafe vehicle and no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

Nyasia J. Buzzard, 20, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $100 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Citations of possession of controlled substance and failure to reinstate a license filed against Russell D. Austin Jr., 29, Prospect Street, Salem, were dismissed with prejudice. Court documents claimed Austin had marijuana, prescription strength Ibuprofen in his vehicle.

A driving under suspension citation against Jennifer L. Smith, 31, Youngstown, was dismissed due to an error of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Michael S. Rickard, 30, Opal Road, Wellsville, cited with violating a temporary protection order and a miscellaneous wildlife citation for allegedly hunting Canada Geese with a gun capable of holding more than three shells while he was prohibited from carrying a weapon due to a protection order.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Lisa L. Starkey, 53, Zephyrhills, Fla., cited with OVI first offense and speeding.

An Oct. 17 pretrial was set for Joshua C. Walker, 19, Conkle Road, Salem, cited with OVI first offense, tail lights and open container.

An Oct. 28 pretrial was set for Valerie J. Rendziniak, 49, state Route 45, Salem, cited with driving a cab for Quaker Cab while using a dealer plate.

An Oct. 31 pretrial was set for Breanne J. Dolan, 25, Warren, cited with driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

A Nov. 4 pretrial was set for Whitney M. Mercer, 28, West Virginia Avenue, Sebring, charged with theft for allegedly taking a pair of flip flops from Shoe Sensation without paying on June 10.
