Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Kyser mark golden wedding anniversary

Ronald and Loretta Kyser of Leetonia recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a picnic at the home of their daughter and son-in-law. Family and friends attended the event which was hosted by their children, Laurel (Michael) Sobota of Greenford, Paul (Laurie) Kyser of Parma Heights, and their three grandchildren. The couple is also planning a trip to the Smokey Mountains in October.

The former Loretta Foertch, daughter of the late Wilder and Kathryn Foertch, and Mr. Kyser, son of the late John and Helen Kyser, were married on July 14, 1963, at the Columbiana United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Reed officiated.

Mr. Kyser was employed at NRM Corp for 33 years. He is a volunteer at the Big Reach Center of Hope.

Mrs. Kyser was a business teacher at Columbiana High School for 35 years. She has also worked for Avon for 32 years and H&R Block for 22 years.

The Kysers are members of Greenford Christian Church and the 61st Ohio Volunteer Civil War Re-enactment Unit.
