BELOIT - Margaret Ellen Savage, 81, of Beloit died Saturday at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
She was born in Paden City, W.Va., on Feb. 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Orval James and Iva Elizabeth (Mikes) Martin.
Mrs. Savage was a school bus driver and also worked at various local potteries. Survivors include her son Robert (Cindy) Savage of Sebring; two daughters, Sandy (Ted) Jones, of Bluffton, Ind., and Michele (Roger) McGhee of Lisbon. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Leona VanCamp of Tennessee and Myrtle Carroll of Martinsville, Ind. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene in March of 2005.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Friday with Pastor Randy Payne officiating.
