- A Dyke Road, Negley, man reported Thursday someone used his bank card to make two sets of purchases totaling nearly $1,000 at a Walmart in Virginia.

- A Millrock Road, New Waterford, woman reported Thursday being harassed by someone who tried to perpetrate a fraud on her by providing her with a check for more than what she was asking to sell her vehicle. The man told her to cash the check and send her the excess money, but she refused and now the man is threatening to call the FBI. The deputy said he would be glad to call the man who is harassing her.

-A deputy was called to a home on Speidel Road, Hanoverton, at 9 p.m. Thursday, where a woman reported being struck in the face by her boyfriend. She showed no signs of being struck, and she declined to press charges.

- A Mill Street, Rogers, woman reported Thursday $25,000 in jewelry is missing, and there no signs her home had been broken into.
