LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court John Taylor, 42, Walnut Street, Salem, was fined $550, sentenced to 15 days in jail and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension, failure to reinstate his license and a traffic control device violation.

Ashley N. Peterson, 20, West Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 and had her license suspended for 180 days for drug abuse for K2 Spice.

Santos D. Griffith, 56, West Third Street, Salem, was fined $250 for setting an illegal fire with $200 suspended provided he have no further violations in the next year. According to court documents, Griffith on Saturday was burning a couch and the coating off wires in his backyard.

Vincent J. Barrella, 84, Georgetown Road, Salem, was fined $100 and credited with nine days already served in jail for domestic violence for attempting to choke his wife and then biting her arm when she resisted.

Bryan L. Schriner, 19, Oak Grove Road, Salineville, was fined $80 for no license and failure to yield the right of way.

Marina N. Rouse, 24, Taylor Road, Negley, was fined $50 for no license and two head lights required.

An Aug. 13 pretrial was set for Jewel L. Reed, 26, state Route 154, Negley, cited with driving under FRA suspension and use of an unauthorized plate.

An Aug. 29 pretrial was set for Jack E. Artrup, 42, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, charged with OVI first offense, left of center and violation of a seat belt law.
