LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, Jonathan J. Abbott, 26, Jennings Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 28 days in jail and credited with two days served for assault. According to court documents, Abbott stabbed Allen N. Ameno behind Stadium GM on June 23.
Jarrod Blake Starkey, 21, Cannon Mills Road, Wellsville, was fined $955, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for 240 days and ordered to attend three days in a driving program for fictitious plates, seat belt violation, loud exhaust and OVI first offense amended from a second offense. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.
Christopher M. Felt, 21, Hutter Drive, Columbiana, was fined $300 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia and K2 spice possession.
Brandon A. Betz, 28, state Route 9, Kensington, was fined $150 and credited with three days served while ordered to serve two more for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. According to court documents, Betz on April 1 grabbed and squeezed his wife's stomach while she was carrying a pregnancy at full term.
Cassidey A. Sandoe, 19, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 and credited with a day in jail served for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for throwing food at his ex-girlfriend but striking another person with it when she ducked, then pulling a pocket knife and finally picking up a bicycle and throwing it at his younger brother.
Cathy McCarthy, 61, Hibbits Mill Road, Wellsville, was fined $150 and sentenced to one day in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for striking Steven Coil in the head with a bottle on March 25.
Zachary Peterson, 18, West Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana paraphernalia.
David Ontoniel Lopez Ajanel, East Third Street, Salem, was credited with two days served for disorderly conduct after police found him intoxicated and sleeping under a tree on the corner of North Ellsworth and East Seventh in Salem at 5:35 a.m. Sunday.
Bobby L. Armstead, 27, North Market Street, Lisbon, was fined $130 and required 30 hours community service for driving in violation of a driving restriction and speeding.
Christopher J. Irwin, 33, Sherman Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.
Gary P. Schnarrenberger, 42, Timber Run Street, New Waterford, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Craig A. Heilman, 32, South Arch Street, Alliance, was fined $50 for a railroad crossing violation.
Donnelle Nicole Taylor, 35, Center Street, Wellsville, was fined $50 for littering from a vehicle.
A July 25 pretrial was set for Stephen J. Clunk, 54, U.S. Route 62, Beloit, charged with domestic violence for allegedly approaching his wife in a threatening manner on Friday while telling her "I'm going to kill you."
A July 29 pretrial was set for Sunshine D. Dailey, 29, Main Street, Wellsville, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly holding a knife to the throat of Simon Golder, while telling him to back away or she would kill him.
A July 29 pretrial was set for Brian D. Curran, 44, Columbiana County Jail, cited with disorderly conduct for allegedly pulling his tracheal tube out and throwing it into a toilet full of urine.
An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Abby L. Pierson, 19, Academy Street, Salineville, charged with theft for allegedly placing items inside her purse in the Dollar General in Salineville on June 9.
An Aug. 19 pretrial was set for Brad K. Pittman, 36, Vine Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly refusing to stop for police who were looking for a person matching his description carrying a knife in the area of East Eighth Street, Salem on Sunday.
An Aug. 26 pretrial was set for Scott D. Bender, 27, Continental Drive, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly discharging a shotgun behind a South Broadway home on Thursday.
An Aug. 27 pretrial was set for Robert F. Cox, 44, West Woodland Avenue, Columbiana, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his brother, Eric Ryhal by hitting and punching him multiple times in the head.
A Sept. 5 pretrial was set for Jason Pugh, 30, Main Boulevard, East Liverpool, cited with driving under suspension.
A Sept. 24 pretrial was set for Nick Cosma, 81, state Route 534, Salem, charged with criminal trespassing and eight counts of telephone harassment for alleged unwelcomed contact with Vivian Stokes on May 17, 18, 25, twice on May 21 and thrice on May 23, as well as being on her Timberline Drive, Columbiana, property on May 21.
