LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday Joseph M. Black, 22, 13th Street, Wellsville, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a drug abuse charge. According to court documents Blake on July 10 had more than 100 grams of crack cocaine in his pockets and scales when he was stopped by Wellsville police.

An Aug. 22 pretrial was set for Christopher B. Nalepa, 46, state Route 170, East Palestine, cited with weapons while intoxicated after he was found by deputies lying at the front door with his head sticking out the screen door reportedly with a .45-caliber casing next to the front door, a loaded handgun laying on the couch and a round he allegedly admitted to firing into the living room ceiling.

An Aug. 27 pretrial was set for Kathryn L. Fisher, 32, Washington Avenue, Salem, cited with weapons while intoxicated for allegedly having two loaded handguns in her purse on Jan. 1, when she allegedly showed at least one gun during a fight at the Foxes Den in Salem.

Scott E. Ellis, 49, Oak Street, Salem, was fined $725, had his license suspended for six months, was required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and failure to control. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Eric R. Wolfe, 37, 10th Street extension, Wellsville, was fined $300, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for stop sign violation and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

Troy G. Hightland, 28, Park Avenue, Salem, was fined $550, had his license suspended for 180 days, was sentenced to three days in jail and required 40 hours community service for hit skip, failure to reinstate a license and assured clear distance.

James W. Behnke III, 20, Youngstown, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Christine E. Cooper, was fined $150, credited with one day served and required 25 hours community service for obstructing official business. According to court documents she refused to cooperate with a deputy assisting Eagle Rental with retrieving a living room suit from her home on June 21.

Jerry Jackson, 31, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $150 and credited with three days served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for throwing a metal baking sheet with items on it at Jessica Wylie on June 1, then throwing the coffee pot and hitting her.

Thomas M. Blair, 38, McKinley Avenue, Salineville, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under FRA suspension.

Michael J. Cannone, 73, Naples, Fla., was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Audrey Ossler, 61, Elmview, Minerva, was fined $200 for two counts of failure to file state sales tax for the Avalon Family Restaurant in March and April.

William Stewart, 48, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $200 for two counts of failure to file state sales tax for Frame Worx in March and April.

Veronica Ullom, 39, Cleveland, was fined $150 for speeding.

Timothy D. Manley, 44, Munroe Falls, was fined $150 for speeding amended from commercial speeding. A seat belt violation was dismissed.

Dave K. Rose, 60, East Main Street, New Waterford, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from failure to control.

Duane Eric Barnes Jr., 21, Orlon Road Northeast, Salineville, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A driving under suspension citation filed against Karen H. Taggart, 50, East State Street, Salem, was dismissed.

Michael E. Mayer, 19, Unity Road, New Waterford, pleaded guilty to theft and a sentencing hearing was set for Aug. 22. According to court documents, Mayer took a bottle of Southern Comfort from Vittle Village in New Waterford on July 5.

A July 23 pretrial was set for Josiah S. Chitwood, 32, Harrison Street, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension and assault for allegedly punching Michael Purcell in the face and tearing his shirt while at a home on Quay Road, East Palestine.

A July 25 pretrial was set for Cameron C. Miller, 22, Rollercoaster Road, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly being aggressive with doctors and hospital staff at Salem Community Hospital on Feb. 10, which led to him kicking and punching a security guard.

An Aug. 8 pretrial was set for Erin R. Letarte, 20, Edward Circle, Columbiana, cited for failure to yield the right of way on a left turn.

An Aug. 13 pretrial was set for Pauline Less, 56, East School Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and lane violations.

An Aug. 19 pretrial was set for Tyler A. Mann, 21, North Canton, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

An Aug. 26 pretrial was set for Johnathan R. Cook, 26, Southwest Street, Columbiana, cited with driving under FRA suspension, turn signal violation and seat belt violation.

An Aug. 26 pretrial was set for Joseph F. Spaniol, 57, Imperial, Pa., cited with a stop sign violation.

An Aug. 29 pretrial was set for Bonnie L. Lewis, 46, East Main Street, Salineville, charged with OVI first offense, driving in violation of a driving restriction and assured clear distance.

A Sept. 3 pretrial was set for Valentine U. Yoder, 42, Cambridge, cited with OVI first offense and parking on the highway.
