Pizza lunch set for Columbiana Seniors

COLUMBIANA - Pizza will be provided for lunch when the Columbiana Senior Citizens meet at 10 a.m. today and July 23 in the Upper Room.

COLUMBIANA - The Crestview Junior Parents Afterprom meeting begins at 7 p.m. today at in the middle school pavilion. All 2015 parents are welcome.

COLUMBIANA The New Waterford High School Class of 1955 plans to meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pizza Hut in Columbiana.

SALEM - A Second Harvest Food Bank food distribution will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church, 15096 W. Middletown Road.

Pet show planned at Sterling House

SALEM - Sterling House will host its annual pet show at 10:30 a.m. Friday, free and open to the public. Residents and guests and their dogs will compete for ribbons in various categories such as best dressed, best bark, best tail wag. Refreshments, doggy bags and a door prize are available. Salem 1959 to meet for lunch Saturday

SALEM - The Salem High School Class of 1959 will meet for lunch at noon Saturday at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.

Salem Eagles plan dance Saturday night

SALEM The public is invited to a dance from 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Salem Eagles Club. Music will be provided by Roadworks. The kitchen will be open from 8 to 10 p.m.

Scanner Club tailgate picnic planned

BOARDMAN - The Greater Youngstown Monitoring Association Scanner Club is hosting a tailgate picnic at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St. The club provides hamburgers and hot dogs. Breakfast offered at Smith Grange

BELOIT -A country-style breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Smith Grange. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Carryouts are available.

SALEM - A&P former employees and retirees are invited to a picnic at 5 p.m. July 15 in pavilion two at Centennial Park. Those attending are to bring a coverdish and table service.

Area Singles to meet at Taste of Country

LISBON - Area Singles will meet at 6 p.m. July 17 at the Taste of Country restaurant in Lisbon. Meetings are also scheduled at 6 p.m. July 24 at Ruby Tuesday in Canfield and on July 31 at Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana.

Card shower set for Margaret Detell

SALEM - A card shower is being held for Margaret (Perry) Detell who will celebrate her 90th birthday on Sunday. She resides at Essex III, 250 Continental Drive, Salem 44460. She was married to Ray Detell, who passed away in March 2008.
