ISBON - A second report released Friday by the Columbiana County Sheriff's Department confirms the identity of the man found floating in Guilford Lake on Wednesday evening.

The body of Edward Krauss, 91, state Route 45, Lisbon, was found in the lake after deputies were called early Wednesday evening by a man reporting a vehicle had been parked on his road all day.

Melvin Eberight, Lakeview Road, Hanoverton, reported at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday there was a suspicious vehicle on his road. Deputies found the license plate came back to Krauss, who had been reported missing earlier in the day by Mabel Primm, Chestnut Street, Lisbon.

Eberight told deputies the vehicle had been there since about 8 a.m. Eberight reported he also saw something floating in the lake. It was found to be a body and the report lists Krauss as the victim.
