LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, George E. Faulkner Jr., 26, state Route 24, East Palestine, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a theft charge after he and his brother reportedly took a vehicle for a test drive on June 12 and did not return it.

Bradley A. Carpenter, 27, Bowman Road, Homeworth, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, fined $1,925 and had his license suspended for a year for OVI first offense, driving under suspension, driving under FRA suspension and resisting arrest after he was reportedly found driving a stolen vehicle, while intoxicated and with a suspended licence on July 8, 2012.

Charles L. Dorsey, 41, Erie Street, East Liverpool, was fined $925, had his license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to seven days in jail and three days in a driving program for OVI first offense and no license.

Jeffery J. Cox, 30, Andrew Avenue, Salem, was fined $300 and sentenced to 45 days in jail for driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

Nick Thomas Tsekouras, 53, Weirton, W.Va., was fined $200 for a seat belt violation and unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Joseph M. Smith, 27, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was fined $150, required 50 hours community service and credited with eight days in jail with seven additional to serve for theft. Court documents state Smith on Jan. 21 fled the Salem Giant Eagle without paying for $95 in DVD and BluRay movies.

Justin Corey Griffith, 26, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $160 and sentenced to 90 days in jail for a turn signal violation, failure to display a valid sticker and obstructing official business after refused to give any identification or driver's license then gave police a name and date of birth which were not in the computer system.

Donald L. Eastham, 40, New Manchester, W.Va., was fined $130 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and a stop sign violation.

Courtney M. Lee, 22, Niles, was fined $130 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

David J. Samora, 33, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

William A. Tomlin, 43, North Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $60 for open container in a vehicle and a turn signal violation.

A driving under suspension citation against Dena Lee Cibula, 23, state Route 164, Leetonia, was dismissed because the FRA bond had been paid but was not posted to the Bureau of Motor Vehicle's computer at the time of stop.

An Aug. 5 pretrial was set for James P. Morrison, 57, Parkview Drive, Lisbon, cited with physical control.

An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Patrick D. Holler, 25, Etruria Street, East Liverpool, cited with OVI first offense.

An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for David J. Barnhart, 35, South Main Street, Columbiana, charged with criminal trespassing for allegedly returning to a neighbor's, Amy Clow's property after being asked to leave and not return while no one was home.

An Aug. 8 pretrial was set for Justin T. Gloeckner, 22, Oak Ridge Drive, East Liverpool, cited with peeling tires.

An Aug. 13 pretrial was set for Michael T. Joy, 25, East Sixth Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

An Aug. 15 pretrial was set for Jo M. Broffman, 62, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, cited with theft for allegedly filling a shopping court full of items, while filling her purse with 19 items totaling $63 and then leaving the shopping cart behind to leave the store without paying for the items in the purse.
