Breakfast offered at North Lima church

NORTH LIMA -An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. today at North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive. Donations will be accepted. Items on the buffet include eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice, and other beverages. Divorce recovery workshop set Fridays

SALEM - "Help me get through this divorce," a divorce recovery workshop, is being offered to the community beginning at 7 p.m. each Friday evening from June 28 through Aug. 2 at Faith Chapel Fellowship, 511 E. Pershing St.

Topics include: "Understanding the divorce experience," "Getting my ex in focus," "Help! It hurts so bad," "I am so angry" and more. Cost of the workshop is $10 which includes materials and the book, "Growing Through Divorce" by Jim Smoke. For more information and/or pre-registration call Faith Chapel Fellowship at 330-332-8573.

David Wells to perform Sunday

NORTH LIMA - The public has two opportunities to hear David Wells in concert on Sunday.

Performances are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. at North Lima Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., and at 6 p.m. at Common Ground Community Church, 2310 W. South Range Road. A love offering will be received at both events.

Phillips Christian Church invites community

SALEM - The Phillips Christian Church at 35459 Salem Grange Road is hosting a free community event from 6 to 8 p.m. July 3 featuring free food, carnival games and fun. All ages are invited.

Vacation Bible school will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. every Sunday in July. VBS is free and open to all children from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade.

This year's theme is "A Whale of a Tale: Jonah and Jesus." Pre-registration is suggested. For more information on either event contact the church at 330-332-4467 or www.phillipschristian.org.

Drive-thru dinner set in North Lima

NORTH LIMA - Calvary United Methodist Church will host its monthly drive-thru chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. July 11 at 12062 South Avenue Extension. The dinner consists of a stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $6. Reservations may be made by calling 330-549-2588. A portion of each month's profits is used for mission projects.

Free meal offered at Leetonia church

LEETONIA - A free meal will be served at 6 p.m. July 3 at the Leetonia Mennonite Church. A program follows at 7 p.m. featuring God's Quad.

Rummage sale planned at Lisbon church

LISBON A rummage sale is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12 and 13 at the Lisbon First United Methodist Church, 114 E. Washington St.

Bible school set at Columbiana church

COLUMBIANA -The Columbiana Nazarene Church will hold its annual vacation Bible school program from 6 to 8:40 p.m. July 8 to 12. This free event, called "The Right Track," will be held at the church at 330 N. Elm St. Registration is required by July 7. Bob Yandian to speak at Living Faith

SALEM - Bob Yandian, a pastor, international teacher and founder of the Grace School of Ministry, will speak at 6 p.m. Aug. 3 at Living Faith Church, 166 Vine St., Salem. He attended Southwestern College and is also a graduate of Trinity Bible College. Pastor Yandian has served as both instructor and dean of instructors at Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Okla.

He has authored over 30 books and has been called "a pastor to pastors." He is also host of the Real Answers television broadcast and has a weekly teaching radio broadcast called Precepts with Bob Yandian. He also will speak at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 4 at Alliance Believers Church, 735 Milner Ave., Alliance. Admission is free. No children services are available. 91st camp meeting planned July 11-12

EAST?LIVERPOOL - The 91st annual camp meeting services on the Tri-State Free Methodist Campground at 1027 Anderson Blvd., East Liverpool, are scheduled July 11-21. The public is invited to attend. Pastor Jake Huffman from Villa Heights Baptist Church in Roanoke, Va., is this year's evangelist. During Family Camp 2013, Pastor Huffman will speak on a series of messages taken from the book of Daniel in the Bible called, "Prophecy: Living a Holy Life in a Corrupted World."
