EAST PALESTINE -Helen Louise Nemeth, died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, at her daughter's home in Salem.
Mrs. Nemeth was born in East Palestine, a daughter of the late A. Earl and Florence M. (Seidner) Mollenkopf.
She was a graduate of East Palestine High School and lived in Unity Township all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Church in Columbiana. She led two Camp Fire girl groups to achieve the Wo-He-Lo medallion and taught Sunday school at Grace Church for over 30 years. She also founded and maintained the children's library at the church.
Her husband, Joseph Alexander Nemeth, whom she married March 25, 1951, died Feb. 13, 1991.
A brother, Lawrence R. Mollenkopf, and a son-in-law, Joeo Gatti, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Jodi (Roy) McCullough of Salem and Judi Gatti of Strongsville; and three grandchildren, Jeffery Morckel, Kelly Morckel and Alexander Gatti.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 1, at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home in East Palestine with the Rev. Donald Booth officiating. Burial will follow at Columbiana Cemetery.
