SALEM - Geraldine L. Spack, 83, of Salem went home to be with her Lord at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Salem Community Hospital.
She was born Oct. 8, 1929 in Salem, the daughter of the late Everett and Pauline (Adams) Baker.
Mrs. Spack served as a waitress for over 30 years at the Salem Saxon Club, former Jamie's, the Ice Cream Parlor and Heggy's. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and sang in the church choir. Gerry graduated from Salem High School in 1948 and was an active member of the Salem Saxon Club Branch 19 since 1945.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Spack; a son, George R. Spack, Jr.; nephew, William Baker; two nieces, Bonnie Baker and Linda Kappler; and her former husband, George R. Spack, Sr., all of Salem.
Two brothers, Kenneth and William Baker, preceded her in death.
Services will be held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 with Pastor Alan Smearsoll officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4- 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Stark Memorial and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church.
