LISBON-Alice E. Pike, 83, of state Route 172, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at the Hospice House of Poland.
Mrs. Pike was born March 1, 1930, in Lisbon, a daughter of the late Alvy and Mary (Crawford) McCormick, and was a life resident of the area.
Alice worked as the secretary and bookkeeper for the Lisbon Lepper Library for 32 years, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the Calcutta Long's Run Presbyterian Church and former member of Lisbon Trinity Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a deacon and youth group advisor.
Alice is survived by her husband, Dalton E. Pike Jr., whom she married Sept. 9, 1950; daughter, Robin (Lary) Muntean of Lisbon; sister, Martha (J. Morgan) Cox of Canton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her daughter, Marianne (Pike) Wherry.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Cramer officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
