- Brooke McKenzie, state Route 39, Wellsville, reported Sunday finding an abandoned Cadillac on her property along the road. The deputy found a note on the vehicle explaining the Cadillac had broken down, and he advised McKenzie she could wait until the owner returned or she could have it towed at the owner's expense.

- Lisa Giordano of Jeanette, Pa., reported Sunday seeing a dog walking along state Route 14 in Fairfield Township and determined it belonged to Ward Showalter, Beeson Mill Road, Leetonia. She took the canine to the home but no one came to the door, so she left the dog tied up outside. Giordano asked the deputy to check on the situation, which he did, and all was well at the residence.

- A deputy was called to a domestic dispute on Fife Coal Road, Wellsville, at 1:49 p.m. Sunday, where a 17-year-old boy reportedly threatened his father with a rock. The deputy spoke with the boy, who apologized to his parents and promised there would be no further problems.

- Tom Donnelly reported seeing a truck on Kelly Park Road in Fairfield Township either removing water from a stream or dumping something in it at 10 a.m. Sunday. The truck was gone by the time a deputy arrived, but the roadway was still wet, leaving the deputy to surmise the company was obtaining free water for drilling.

- Tina Pitre, Green Street, East Rochester, reported a smoke bomb was set off near her home on Saturday night.

- A deputy responded to a report of a traffic accident in the Woodland Cemetery just outside Salineville at 2:40 a.m. Sunday. The deputy found a car belonging to Betty A. Rush had run over a grave and gone a over a cliff after cresting a hill, coming to rest on a metal pole and tearing off the bumper in the process. Rush, 44, of Salineville, was clearly intoxicated and admitting drinking many beers that night. Rush said she and her friend, John Thomas, had gone to the cemetery and the car brakes gave out.

- Rayanne Cutwright, Endley Road, Lisbon, reported at 10:13 p.m. Saturday she wanted a man removed from her property but he left prior to the deputy's arrival. Cutwright said the man's name was Steve and he lived in the woods behind her property, and a neighbor told her he is a sex offender. Another deputy reported two nights before getting a call about a man sleeping in a motor vehicle and identified the person as a registered sex offender from South Carolina, which had a warrant for his arrest. South Carolina was not interested in having him returned, however, because it was outside their pick-up range.

- Amber Westfall, Harry Street, Lisbon, reported Saturday her dog was missing and she believes it was abducted, even though the canine was running loose when it turned up missing.

- Newspaper delivery person George Eaton reported coming across a car with its light flashing in the parking lot of Walt's Auto Body, state Route 7, Columbiana, at 2:35 a.m. Friday. The deputy determined there did not appear to be anything wrong but advised the dispatcher to contact the owner.

- Richard McCullough, manager of the Frola Motel, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported Thursday having problems with a customer over a rented room when the man began making threats.
