LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, John A. Stoffer, 50, South Broadway, Salem, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a charge of possession of chemicals for drugs. Court documents allege when police searched Stoffer's home on a warrant on May 29, they found chemicals for the production of methamphetamine, including Coleman fuel, muriatic acid, ammonium nitrate, empty packs of generic pseudoephedrine products and batteries. Additionally, it is noted Stoffer reportedly admitted to making methamphetamines and his home was within 1,000 feet of the Quaker Daycare and Preschool.
