May 29, 2013
Salem News

Salem firefighters had to re-extinguish a fire from a fiery two-truck accident that claimed to lives on state Route 534 in Berlin Township Monday night. The two trucks were towed to Davidson's Trucking Co. property in the 500 block of Prospect St. where one that was hauling paper cups rekindled at about 7:47 p.m. Tuesday. Lt. Steve Mix is working the fire hose to douse burning embers while inspector Aaron Loper, left, checks inside of what's left of the hauling container. Firefighter Mike Bryan and Kevin Bryan are behind Mix. Captain Shawn Mesler said the fire rekindled after engulfing both vehicles in flames in Monday's accident. (Salem New photo by Larry Shields)
