CUYAHOGA FALLS - Miriam K. Swearingen, 95, of Cuyahoga Falls, formerly of Minerva and Kensington, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Sunrise Senior Living of Cuyahoga Falls.
She was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Paris, Ohio, to Levi and Eva (Weimer) Krabill.
Mrs. Swearingen retired from TRW Metals in Minerva and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Swearingen, who died in 1963; two sons, Gary and Bruce Swearingen; three sisters, Pauline Maldoven, Evelyn Grady and Bernice Krabill; and four brothers, Melvin, Donald, Olan, Wayne, Randall and Wendell Krabill.
Survivors include three daughters, Gail Swearingen of Cuyahoga Falls, Nancy (Cliff) Hill of Oriental, N.C., and Carol Swearingen of Cuyahoga Falls; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Swearingen of Winchester, Va.; three grandsons, Michael (Penny) Hill Sr., Matthew (Kim) Hill and Mark Swearingen; five great-grandchildren, Kailee, Matthew, Michael, Samuel and Joshua; six nieces and four nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with the Rev. Robert Lentz officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
