Columbiana man pleads guilty to theft, credit card, drug charges

LISBON - Cody W. Harmon, 24, South Main Street, Columbiana, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to misuse of credit cards, trafficking in drugs and two counts theft. He faces up to three and a half years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Aug. 5.

According to court documents, Harmon was accused of taking between $1,000 and $7,500 in cash from Donna Sorrell, as well as using her credit card in 2012 between April 14 and May 8. Then later in the year he was accused of the trafficking in drugs and theft charges after he had marijuana and prescription drugs on Nov. 14, which had been taken from Anthony Altomare.
