- A Fagen security guard at the M3K processing plant, state Route 664, Kensington, reported at 2:38 p.m. Monday the company was giving a welding test on site for potential new structural welders and after the test one applicant was informed he had failed the test and would not be considered. The man reportedly became irate, used vulgar language, removed a section of steel pipe from his truck and began swinging it around while threatening everyone. Other employees calmed the man down, and he left.

- A Cherry Valley Road, Leetonia, woman reported at 8:27 p.m. Thursday a neighbor came into her home and pushed her, allegedly because she had yelled at the neighbor's son. Deputies went to the neighbor's house and asked her not to return to to the caller's house. She agreed.

- A possible underage drinking party was reported at Buckeye Mining on state Route 45 in Madison Township at 7:02 p.m. Thursday. Deputies checked the area, but found no people or vehicles.

- A Canton man reported at 5:47 p.m. Thursday people picked him up at home and brought him to Buffalo Road, Hanoverton. While there, a man allegedly assaulted him by hitting him in the head and stealing his medication. He was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital in Youngstown. Deputies spoke to a man across the road who claimed the Canton man had tried to steal another man's cell phone. The phone's owner caught him, hit him and got his phone back. Then the man had left. Deputies told the neighbor to have the man contact them and provide a statement.

- Sometime between last Saturday evening and Sunday morning someone reportedly broke into Crestview High School through an open window in the teachers' lounge. Going through the ceiling tiles from a conference room, the person accessed the athletic director's office and stole a small security safe, which contained start up money and tickets. The matter is under investigation.
