Man gets probation on stolen gun charge

LISBON - In Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, Matthew J. Ankrom was sentenced to four years probation, including six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center for receiving stolen property. According to court documents, Ankrom, 22, Rose Drive, Lisbon, had a 40-caliber pistol on July 1, 2011, a gun belonging to John Anderson.

Raymond D. Robinson, 40, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, was found in violation of his probation on charges of failure to notify the sheriff of his change of address and failure to verify his address as a Tier II sexual offender. His probation is dishonorably terminated.

Kasey J. Blackburn, 22, Garfield Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to three years probation after he was found in violation of his intervention in lieu of conviction terms. Blackburn had previous pleaded guilty to a receiving stolen property charge for driving a van stolen from the Days Inn Hotel in Lisbon on Feb. 11, 2012.
