- Ronald O. Baker Jr., 40, Scotts Mill Road, Rogers, was charged Saturday afternoon with domestic violence after his mother, Pat Scarlet, Wellsville, reported he had assaulted his fiancee, Starlyne M. Spirlock reportedly told deputies he had made the threat but wasn't really going to do anything. He was advised that it was up to his brother to report to the sheriff's office about being beaten up and that Spirlock could get into trouble by making threats.

- Glenna Barrett, Y&O Road, East Liverpool, told deputies Sunday morning she found the 17-year-old boy for whom she has been appointed legal guardian had drank three beers after she went to bed. Barrett also said she has had trouble with him taking items and having snuff that he is not allowed to have. She asked to have a deputy speak with the boy, but the deputy said it would have to be when the boy was sober.

- Gerald Lutes, Mayfair Avenue, Minerva, reported Sunday morning two vehicles ransacked, with numerous CDs, loose change and binoculars taken.

- Maureen Skinner of Arizona reported Saturday her parents had advised that a Kubota tractor was taken from property she owns on Peace Valley Road in Middleton Township. Copper pipe had also been stolen from the building, and deputies reported it appeared someone had been staying inside at some point.

- Steve Nelder, Park View Drive, Lisbon, reported Thomas Henry has been threatening him and other neighbors, blaming them for turning him into the Humane Society of Columbiana County about his animals. Deputies advised Henry that they had notified the HSCC about his horses being loose on state Route 172 and Depot Road. Henry told deputies he still thinks someone is cutting his fence, allowing his horses to escape.
