Woman pleads guilty to thefts

LISBON - An East Liverpool woman will be sentenced on Aug. 8 in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty to committing a series of property theft crimes in the city in 2012.

Ashley D. Bable, 26, of West Seventh Street, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property, while four counts of using a stolen credit card were dismissed as part of a plea deal reached with the county prosecutor's office.

Bable admitted to:

- Breaking into the home of Jessica Williams of East Liverpool in July 2012 and stealing a necklace, TV, computer, video game system and clothing.

- Breaking into the home of Robert Bloor of East Liverpool in September 2012 while he was mowing and stealing a firearm, wallet, jewelry, coins and laptop computer.

- Receiving stolen property involving one of the credit cards stolen from Bloor.

- Receiving stolen property involving a credit card stolen from the East Liverpool home of William McGill, which was burglarized in July 2012. McGill was deceased.

In other court action, Robert J. Tozzi, 51, of North Canton, was sentenced to probation by Judge Scott Washam for failing to pay $60,146 in child support between June 2004 and July 2006.
