New Waterford motorcyclist pleads guilty to OVI charges

LISBON -A man accused of driving a 1969 Harley while under the influence of both alcohol and drugs last Sept. 29 pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court this week. Andrew Sandora, 48, state Route 14, New Waterford, pleaded guilty to three OVI charges with a specification noting he had five OVI convictions in the previous 20 years. One of the new OVI charges was for marijuana in his system and he reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .236. Sentencing is set for July 8.

Lisa M. Wright, 31, Maple Drive, Boardman, pleaded guilty to burglary. According to court documents, Wright trespassed in an East Clark Street, East Palestine, home belonging to James Browne by breaking the glass front door and took a jug containing about $200. She faces up to eight years in prison and $15,000 fine. Sentencing is set for July 12.

Brett J. Young, 26, North Wood Avenue, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for crack cocaine in his possession last June 17. Sentencing is set for June 17. He faces up to 12 months in prison and a six-month license suspension.

Bobbi J. Mosser, 45, Fair Avenue, Salem, pleaded guilty to having weapons while under a disability. She faces up to 36 months in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for June 17. According to court records, Mosser had an SKS assault rifle in her possession last August. She has two previous convictions of trafficking in marijuana in 1994 and 1997, which prevent her from being allowed to possess firearms.
