COLUMBIANA - Anna Mary Weaver died peacefully in her sleep on April 5, 2013, in the home of her grandson, Duane Weaver of Power, Mont.
She was born July 15, 1926, to Ezra and Lula (Shaum) Witmer in Columbiana, Ohio.
Anna Mary accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a faithful member of the Mennonite church. Her quiet godly example is a legacy for her family to follow. Finding our mother on her knees early in the morning is a memory we will treasure.
She married Paul Weaver on July 4, 1948. They lived on a beautiful dairy farm along Lesher Road. She loved gardening and especially her flower beds. Her family will always remember her chicken dinners which ended in warm crusty apple pie.
Left to grieve her passing are her children, Wilbur (Rachel) Weaver of Leetonia, Ohio; Eunice (Dean) Maldaner of Rolling Hills, Alberta; Kenneth (Ann) Weaver of Raymond, Alberta; Harold ( Phyllis) Weaver of Tasmania, Australia; Carol (Daryl) Horst of Payette, Idaho; Eldon (Debbie) Weaver of Fairfield, Mont.; Glenn (Anne) Weaver of Fort Shaw, Mont.; and Mary (Gerald) Horst of Salem, Ohio; two sisters, Martha (John) Bacher of Wolford, N.D., and Arlene (Howard) Weaver of Lewisburg, Pa.; and brothers, Warren (Lucille) Witmer of Archibald, Ohio, and David (Joanna) Witmer of Columbiana, Ohio. Her 64 grandchildren and 90 great-grandchildren will also miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Weaver; her parents, Ezra and Lula (Shaum) Witmer; two brothers, John and Vernon Witmer; four grandchildren, Daryl Weaver, Rochelle Weaver, Mary Lee Weaver and Adrian Horst; and four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Maldaner, Jerome Torkelson, Tatiana Weaver and Toby Weaver.
