HOMEWORTH - Sandra Lee Chapman, 71, died April 7, 2013, with her family by her side following an extended illness, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born Nov. 26, 1941, in Alliance, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bump) Chapman of 44 years, father Kenneth Knoch Sr., and mother Helen Freeman Knoch, brothers Kenneth Knoch Jr. and Robert Knoch.
Mrs. Chapman is survived by her daughter, Joanne Earle and husband Brent and their children Scott and Jessica, Pamela Barrett and husband Kevin as well as Pamela's children Michael, Matthew and Amanda Summers with great-granddaughter Peyton Summers; Barbara Chapman-Hammonds and husband Leroy, as well as Barbara's children Christopher Chapman, Dakota Kirksey and stepchildren Natasha and Leroy Hammonds; Roberta Chapman and husband Michael and their children Ethan and Gavin; Jennifer Greeneisen and husband Michael and their children Skyler and Ragan.
She graduated from Goshen High School in 1959, and later attended business college. She was employed at Americana Art China and Sencorp until she retired.
Her interests included bingo, baking, fishing, camping, a love for watching the Cleveland Indians, QVC shopping-as a sport and being around her five daughters, 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; family and friends.
A memorial service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Dean's Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio.
A celebration of life titled "Today I Dance" will immediately follow the memorial service, at West Branch Athletic Boosters Hall, in Westville Lake, Ohio.
