LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, Courtney L. Cook, 19, 14th Street, Wellsville, was fined $755, had her license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to three days in driver's school and three days in jail for OVI first offense, failure to display a valid sticker, driving under suspension, lane violation and a seat belt violation.

David L. Scarry, 26, Hoopes Road, Salem, was fined $400, had his license suspended for six months, sentenced to three days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and a plate light violation.

Andrew H. Hunley, 37, state Route 558, Leetonia, was fined $300, credited with five days jail served and required 40 hours community service for criminal mischief and domestic violence for kicking the screen out of a television, punching several holes in plastered walls and threatening to crack the skull of Jessica Jewell, the mother of his children.

David G. Crom, 35, Steward Road, Salem, was fined $260 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for four days served for driving under suspension, one way road, reckless operation and failure to comply for attempting to elude Lisbon police on March 22.

Forest T. Davis Jr., 35, Peace Valley Road, East Palestine, was fined $200 and credited with six days served for assault for punching a staff member at his group home multiple times.

Christopher May, 32, Scott Drive, Alliance, was fined $100 and sentenced to 170 additional days in jail for domestic violence for punching his wife, Paula May, in the head on March 22.

Michael Howard, 27, Idaho Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, but credited with 33 served for theft for a 30-pack of Busch beer and both Sonoma and USA Gold cigarettes taken from Gibby's Mini Mart on Clark Avenue last July. Additionally, Craftsman toolbox and tools were taken from the back of a parked vehicle.

Amber K. McCombs, 37, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was fined $350, had her license suspended for seven months and was sentenced to three days in jail for failure to control and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense. A reckless operation charge was dismissed.

Andre Durham, 52, Cleveland, was fined $300 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Chad D. Fowler, 27, state Route 45, Salem, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for physical control.

Jennifer L. Hamilton, 37, West Perry Street, Salem, was fined $180 for driving under suspension, use of an unauthorized plate and seat belt violation.

Jennifer L. Conners, 42, Louisville, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Kaleb E. Simpson, 23, state Route 7, New Waterford, was fined $100 and sentenced to one days in jail for theft for taking a four-pack batteries from Rite Aid without paying on Feb. 19.

Ryan D. Armstrong, 28, Depot Road, Salem, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for a fight with Matthew Bays at the Club Fuel in Salem on Saturday.

Amanda L. Ridzon, 28, Woodworth Road, New Springfield, was fined $100 for failure to display of license plate amended from speeding.

Tracy L. Swinehart, 40, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, was fined $30 for a turn signal violation. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.

Brent M. Banister, 21, Depot Road, Lisbon, pleaded no contest to theft for allegedly assisting two others in taking wood stacked on a Hanover Township property valued at $500. An April 4 sentencing hearing was set, along with a contempt of court hearing on the same date for alleged failure to comply with court orders regarding a 2010 conviction of no license and failure to display a valid sticker.

A passing bad checks charge against William J. Evens, 37, Girard, was dismissed. The check had been allegedly issued to Columbiana Mayor's Court to cover the $90 traffic citation.

An April 8 pretrial was set for Hayward B. Washington, 58, 15th Street, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly chasing Patricia Whitson around the house with a sword he had removed from a sheath on the wall.

An April 18 pretrial was set for Brandon M. Huff, 18, East Fourth Street, Salem, cited with underaged consumption.

An April 30 pretrial was set for Jason P.F. Truitt, 31, Middletown Road, Salem, charged with OVI third offense, lane violations and loud exhaust.

A May 7 pretrial was set for Cody N. Gill, 21, Dyke Road, Rogers, charged with OVI first offense, failure to display a valid sticker and unsafe vehicle.

A May 9 pretrial was set for Mathew A. Bays, 25, East Perry Street, Salem, charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct for allegedly being involved in a fight at Club Fuel on March 30, refusing to cooperate when police gave him warnings to do so and grabbing a police officer attempting to arrest him.

A June 10 pretrial was set for Ronald A. Shaffer, 40, West North Avenue, East Palestine, cited with failure to reinstate his license.

A July 2 pretrial was set for Jonathon M. Pfupajena, 35, Sherwood Road, Wellsville, cited with driving under suspension and failure to control.
