- A state Route 9, Hanoverton, woman reported at 3:07 a.m. Wednesday her older son and his girlfriend came to the house. They were causing trouble and would not leave. Her older son began shoving her 17-year-old son and a fight began. The 17-year-old told deputies his brother came after their mother and that is when he intervened. The older son claimed he was assaulted by his brother and his mother had assaulted his girlfriend by pulling her hair. Everyone involved signed refusal to prosecute forms. The older son and his girlfriend were told not to return.

- A Mancos, Colo., man reported at 4:11 p.m. Wednesday sometime in the past few days someone stole the rear license plate from his vehicle, which was on parked state Route 644 near Mechanicstown.

- A state Route 517, Columbiana, woman reported at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday the family came home and found the house had been broken into. She was making a list of items taken. A contractor working on the neighbor's house reported he saw an Ohio Edison van go to the house, but no one else. He also was at lunch from about 1:30 to 3 p.m.

- A West Main Street, East Palestine, man reported at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday sometime between December and Wednesday someone broke a window on the camper he keeps at Terrace Lakes. He is making a list of the items taken.
