PERRY TWP. - Perry Township Trustees voted after an executive session Monday to hire Patrolman Jordan Reynolds as a full-time police officer with benefits.
Reynolds, who's been with the department about a year, had been working part-time and will make the move to full-time effective March 18 at a rate of $18.75 per hour. Township Fiscal Officer Susan Johnston said the decision will cost the township an additional $28,000 a year since Reynolds will now have benefits and an increase in hours.
