- A Hisey Road, New Waterford resident reported suspicious activity at the Verizon tower on Hisey Road in Unity Township at 11:15 a.m. Feb. 27. The vehicle was gone when deputies arrived and found a hole cut into the chain link fence. Deputies walked around the fence and entered through the hole, finding where someone had dug into the gravel near the tower and cut some cable or wire. The vehicle was described as a dark green Ford Ranger extended cab pickup with a step side, decals on the driver's rear window and a white tailgate. The men were white and in their mid-20s. The repair bill for the theft is $2,000.

- Mary Fisher, Middle Beaver Road, Lisbon, reported at 9:12 a.m. Feb. 27, someone broke into the Creekside Country Store between 5 p.m. on Feb. 26 and that morning. Someone had removed the siding and kicked a hole through the particle board underneath to get inside. Fruit boxes were used to carry store merchandise, including Tide laundry detergent.

- Assistant Principal Mary Alice Sigler at Southern Local High School reported at 1:05 p.m. Thursday they caught a 14-year-old student attempting to sell what appeared to be two marijuana cigarettes to another student. Deputies checked the green leafy substance, but it tested negative for marijuana.

- An Adams Road, Rogers, man reported at 1:47 p.m. Feb. 27 when he came home that afternoon he found change missing from the kitchen counter, then found additional items missing from throughout the house including firearms. The homeowner gave a description of a man, who on Feb. 26 stopped by to ask about driving through Lucich's fields to cut firewood. The man was reportedly white with a blue coat and blue jeans, about six-foot tall, 220 pounds and between 25 and 35 years old. He had a scruffy beard and was driving a red 2003 Chevy Blazer with a push bumper.

- A Bye Road, East Palestine, man reported at 8 a.m. Monday sometime overnight someone stole his Polaris four wheeler, which had been parked next to his home with the key removed. He found footprints in the snow from behind his home and the ATV was pushed into the neighbor's driveway, then possibly into a truck.

- A Hamilton Road, East Palestine, woman reported at 3:21 p.m. Monday she has been having ongoing problems with the neighbors blowing their horns and making obscene gestures when they drive by. The neighbor told deputies the family always honks and waves goodbye to each other when they leave, but are not directing any gestures at the neighbor.

- A Pancake-Clarkson Road, Rogers, man reported at 8:33 p.m. Sunday someone has been trespassing on his property. Deputies checked the area, but found no one.

- A state Route 518, Lisbon, woman reported suspicious activity at a home on West Point Road at 3:58 p.m. Sunday. Deputies checked the home, but it appeared to be secure.
