Man sentenced on stolen property count

LISBON - James L. Beebout, 42, Densmore Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to receiving stolen property and was sentenced immediately to eight months in prison. The charge claims in May and June of 2012, Beebout pawned several items of jewelry belonging to Carrie Anne Mackall and valued at approximately $2,462.

The eight months will be served consecutive to the 19 months sentence he began serving in February for two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of vandalism for damage he caused when he broke into both the Splish Splash Laundry and Dale's Laundromat on Feb. 21, 2012.
