- Firefighters were called at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday to the 300 block of Roosevelt Avenue for wires arcing and sagging in front of a property. The area was secured and Ohio Edison was notified to respond, arriving at 1:49 p.m.
- Firefighters were called at 8:21 a.m. Tuesday to Heggy's, 296 E. State St., after a police officer reported being told someone could smell possibly burnt wires in the basement, but with no fire present. Upon investigating, it was found the coffee maker shorted out while in use. The area was checked with the thermal imaging camera, with no problems found. The coffee maker was unplugged and the people were told to no longer use it.
